Everyone was so kind! My family all used to go to some other place, where the staff were typically pretty arrogant and uncaring. But the difference here is like night and day. I felt like the staff here actually cared about their jobs and the people they work with. Would and will definitely recommend

Upon coming in for my appointment, they did some tests on my eyes to make sure that nothing has changed since then and that everything as perfect for the surgery. They gave me some snacks and some Xanax to get me into a relaxed state before guiding me into the operation room. During the surgery, they gave me clear instructions on what to do, and it was completely painless aside from some pressure on the eyes. After the procedure, I was instructed to sleep as soon as I got home. When I woke up, voila! 20/20 vision. It was one of the easiest procedures I've ever done and the whole surgery really lasted 10 minutes. 7 minutes of that was preparation, creating the flap took 2 minutes, and the laser for your cornea lasted 20 seconds total. I would definitely recommend this place again for any future patients. Definitely a very wonderful and rewarding experience!

From my consultation, to my pre and post surgical appointments, and especially my surgery day- Boston Vision was amazing. Thorough, professional and friendly. It was super easy. And the surgery was flawless. If you are diligent in following the post op instructions the recovery is quick and easy and the payoff is amazing! Life without glasses or contacts is great!

" My experience with Boston vision has by far been the best experience. From start to finish beginning with front desk staff to all doctors and emails. Everyone has been very professional at all 3 locations I have been to. The day of surgery I was excited and nervous. But thankfully surgery went really well. The procedure felt like it was 10 min for both eyes. Its an easy in and out. I dont regret it one bit wished I had actually done it sooner. Im on day 3 post surgery and my vision is great. Bottom line look into it, see if you qualify and get it done. "

My whole procedure lasted about 2.5 hours, but the surgery part took less than 20 minutes. Plenty of numbing eye drops were provided and the doctors were happy to add more when I told them I felt sensations more in one eye than the other. For reference I'm very sensitive with my eyes to the point that I can't handle putting in or taking out contacts, so for me there was some discomfort during the procedure but it was managable and quick. After you've been given time for the numbing drops to kick in, a clamp is put in place to hold your eyelids open, and I remember feeling the numbed version of my eyes being brushed, then water being trickled onto them, then a slight smell when the laser was active. Then a bandage contact was placed and the procedure repeated for the next eye. Then one final checkup and I was good to go. Day 1, the day of the surgery, I was sensitive to light so I kept my eyes closed most of the day or had sunglasses on. Day 2 was similar, irritation peaked at night and then day 3 was when my eyes were at their most sensitive. Since then it's been uphill as far as comfort, on day 5 my vision was somewhere between pre-surgery no glasses and pre-surgery glasses. As of day 19 I'd estimate one eye is 90% and the other 85% of my pre-surgery glasses vision.
