
Robert Johnson, O.D.
Dr. Robert Johnson, O.D. was born and raised in Malden, Massachusetts and attended Malden Catholic High School. He went on to pursue his undergraduate education at Suffolk University as a Fulham Scholar. After graduating in 1990, he moved on to the New England College of Optometry earning his doctorate in Optometry in 1994. Upon graduation he was accepted into the Optometric Residency program at Eye Associates where he was actively involved in all aspects of clinical care, ocular disease and contact lenses. He enjoyed his experience with the doctors and the practice so much that he continues to practice with Eye Associates.
During his residency, Dr. Johnson also served as an instructor of the ocular disease lab at the New England College of Optometry. In addition, he has served as Primary or Sub-Investigator on numerous clinical research studies on glaucoma, dry eye, ocular allergy and contact lenses.
Dr. Johnson resides in New Hampshire and spends as much time as possible in the White Mountains. His wife, Beth, is also an optometrist and maintains a busy private practice in New Hampshire. When not seeing patients, Dr. Johnson can be found skiing with his two daughters in the winter and hiking, biking and golfing in the summer.
